Before the advent of color photography, the only way to get a color photo was to take a black and white photo and actually paint on the photo. While we don't have to do this for photos we take now, we are still left with many old photos that we wish were in color. Using digital technology, this process of colorizing photos has become much more flexible. We have added colorization of your photos to our list of services. The process we use is very similar to the original process. We take the digital pigment and apply this to your photo. Rather than colorizing the whole photo, we recommend selective colorization. If done correctly, the result is a more artistic image. This process is not limited to just black and white photos. We can also take color photos, convert them to black and white and then colorize them.

We also offer colorization as a separate service from the CDs. You would receive your print on your choice of photo glossy paper or on CD.
